Houston Astros 3B Aaron Boone, best known for his game winning homer against the Red Sox in Game 7 of the 2003 playoffs, is scheduled to have surgery to replace an aortic valve this coming Thursday. The brother of former big leaguer Bret, and son of Hall of Famer Bob Boone, Aaron isn’t sure if his career will resume after he recovers.
